To our customers and business partners – about the corona virus
With the further spread of the Corona Virus COVID-19, we receive numerous inquiries about the current supply situation and our countermeasures.
We follow the news on this topic on a regular basis, to keep ourselves and our routines updated. As for now, there is neither any infection nor any suspicion of it in our company.
Internal instructions and visitors
All employees are to follow the advices giving by the government, the foreign office and public institutions, including calling doctors on line if coughing and fever, etc.
All our toilet rooms have for many years routinely been equipped with disinfectants for hand cleaning.
For visits in production, we are certified by FSSC 22000 and do always comply to the standard.
We have complemented the health declaration for visitors with questions about having been travelling to specific areas of high risk for corona virus the last month. If yes, they are not allowed into production nor our offices, we will conduct the meetings by tele conference or likewise.
For drivers loading or unloading, they are not allowed to leave the truck cab if they come from a risk area and they are only allowed to load/unload on distance to our staff, no visits to toilets etc. All travelling outside Sweden by our employees must be reported to their line manager, even private travelling. The line manager will decide with the management team, if there is any risk and how to take action (quarantine etc).
Sourcing and supplying
We traditionally source our raw materials from the world’s leading quality producers, the vast majority of those are located in Europe. For our suppliers in the risk areas, like China, South Korea, Italy and Iran right now, we have a very tight dialogue – to avoid any contagion and to secure deliveries, for future and regularly deliveries to our customers.
The sharp decline in shipments from China is also disrupting supply chains worldwide. This can affect both the availability of containers and freight capacity. Nevertheless, we always endeavor to meet this requirement comprehensively in close dialogue with our major suppliers and will inform you about the current delivery situation if necessary.
At the moment we take every step we can to foresee and secure deliveries of ingredients and raw materials in the next 6 months to come, meaning issuing orders for business critical purchasing. This will be done in agreement with our customers, being contacted by our sales people to agree on deliveries and how to secure supplies, helping our customers run their production without hopefully any shortage of supplies from us.
Please contact us if you have any queries.
Depending on the further development, we will keep you informed.
